Summer 2022 Practice Schedule (Updated July 14, 2022)

We're Spreading Out - Updated Summer 2022 Practice Schedule

Our registration target for Summer 2022 was 100 players.  We’ve significantly exceeded this target  - which is fantastic news BUT it means a very full house at the Turf Centre on Wednesday evenings - in fact, too full.  Recognizing this, to give players the best possible experience, beginning on July 17th, we will be moving the practice slot for our U14/U16 Boys to Sunday evenings from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.  By moving this big group to another evening, they can have both fields at the same time and we will have less crowding for the other groups on Wednesday nights.

PLEASE NOTE THAT, OTHER THAN OUR U14/U16 BOYS, ALL OTHER DIVISIONS WILL CONTINUE TO PRACTICE ON WEDNESDAY EVENINGS

Here is our UPDATED Practice Schedule for Summer 2022:

Boys in the U10, U12, U14 and U16 age divisions require full equipment including:  gloves, helmet, protective cup, shoulder pads, arm pads, mouth guard, cleats (preferred) or runners, and lacrosse stick.  Rib/Kidney pads are recommended.

Girls in the U12, U15, and U19 age division require a women's field stick (not a box lacrosse stick), a mouth guard, cleats (preferred) or runners, and goggles.  We can provide players with a stick (to be returned at the end of practice) on a short-term basis.  We will be selling starter kits for our women's field players which include a stick, goggles and a carrying case for $125.00 on a first-come, first served basis.

Boys in the U6/U8 division require gloves, helmet, protective cup, mouth guard, cleats (preferred) or runners, and a lacrosse stick.

Girls in the U6/U8 division require a women's field stick (not a box lacrosse stick), a mouth guard, cleats (preferred) or runners, and goggles.  Again, we can provide players with a loaner stick on a short-term basis.

U10 girls will play with the U12/U15//U19 group.

We will initially be combining the boys and girls in the U6/U8 division and will focus on basic skill development (common to both men's and women's field lacrosse) with these players including, throwing, catching, scooping up ground balls, and body positioning.  Strong basic skills are the foundation that advanced tactics and game play skills are built on!  Fun will also be a focus!

Welcome back to field lacrosse, Razorbacks!!!!
