Practice Days and Times - Summer 2022 Season
Save Your Wednesday evenings for Razorbacks Lacrosse!! Practices (all age divisions/boys and girls) will take place on Wednesday evenings at the Turf Training Centre.
For the Summer 2022 season, the Edmonton Razorbacks are using a consolidated practice model where practices occur once per week only for 50 to 120 minutes per session and align with the Long-Term Athlete Development Pathways (LTAD) for field lacrosse. Consolidated practices allow players to both learn and then practice fundamental skills multiple times.
- Practice times will be scheduled by age division, with our youngest players beginning as early as 5:30 PM. Practices for older players will end by 9:00 PM.
- Players will be made aware of the assigned practice time slot for their division when registering for the Razorbacks.
- Practices will range in duration from 50 minutes (1 time per week) for U8 players to 90-120 minutes (1 time per week) for players in older age divisions.
In addition to our dedicated practice sessions, all registered players will have the opportunity to compete against players from across the province during field day play in July and August hosted by the Alberta Field Lacrosse Association (AFLA). Players will also participate in the AFLA provincial tournament in late August/early September.
IMPORTANT: Please note that AFLA field day play occurs on weekends in Red Deer at the Collicut Centre.
